Role Overview

Brasfield & Gorrie is looking to hire a Laborer to support their commercial construction projects. This role involves various physical tasks at construction sites, including operating equipment and assisting skilled tradespeople, often under varying weather conditions and at heights.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform manual labor tasks on commercial construction sites.
• Operate hand and power tools such as air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, and surveying instruments.
• Prepare and clean work sites, including digging trenches, setting braces for excavation, erecting scaffolding, and clearing debris.
• Assist other skilled workers as needed.
• Work at elevated heights when required.
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures and maintain a drug-free work environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least one year of experience in commercial construction preferred.
• Ability to lift weights up to 70 pounds safely.
• Capable of prolonged stooping, bending, standing, and working in varied weather conditions.
• Comfortable working at heights.
