Laboratory Technician / Chemist

Overview

Join Orontes Manufacturing Group as a Laboratory Technician / Chemist within our Quality Control Department. This role involves ensuring high standards of milk product quality through detailed lab testing and supportive development activities.

Key Duties

• Conduct both routine and specialized lab tests on raw materials, intermediate samples, and final packaged dairy goods.
• Prepare chemicals and reagents accurately, calibrate lab instruments, and maintain their proper operation.
• Analyze laboratory data, compile reports, and monitor quality trends to guarantee compliance with established standards.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to assist with product innovation and optimize testing processes.
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality guidelines, report deviations and non-conformances to concerned departments.
• Evaluate packaging materials through testing and assist in their approval process.
• Engage in internal auditing activities and contribute towards continuous process improvement initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or similar disciplines aligned with dairy technology.
• Between 1 to 3 years of practical experience working within a dairy laboratory environment.
• Proficient knowledge of dairy chemistry principles and food product development to support quality assurance work.
• Hands-on familiarity with laboratory testing techniques applicable to food safety and quality control.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including mornings and nights as part of a rotating schedule.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English languages is essential.
• Residing within the United Arab Emirates currently.
