KST Executive

Position Summary

As a KST Executive at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts in Goa, you will lead and support the stewarding team to enhance cleaning efficiency. This role requires overseeing proper water temperatures and chemical levels for cleaning processes and assisting with banquet plate-ups. You will collaborate with kitchen staff, aiding cooks by ensuring they have necessary supplies and supporting the banquet and buffet by transporting items and maintaining adequate stock. Return of cleaned items to designated locations and operation of cleaning tools—including dishwashers, hand wash stations, pot-scrubbing stations, and trash compactors—also fall under your responsibilities.

Leadership and Management

You will assist management in several human resource functions such as hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees. Adhering to company safety and security policies is essential, as is reporting any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions promptly. You will be expected to complete relevant safety training and certifications.

Work Environment and Expectations

Maintaining a clean, professional personal appearance and strict confidentiality of proprietary information are required. Protecting company assets and professionally engaging with guests by anticipating and addressing their service needs are important aspects of the role. Clear, professional communication and fostering positive team relationships to meet shared goals are vital. Quality standards must be consistently met while physically managing tasks that include moving or lifting items up to 50 pounds, as well as prolonged standing, sitting, walking, and reaching movements involving bending and stooping. Work may occur on uneven or slippery surfaces, and additional duties may be assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
• Experience: At least two years of related work experience and a minimum of one year in a supervisory role
• Certifications: None required
