Position Overview: Kitchen Porter at Hale Country Club & Spa
We are looking to hire an experienced Kitchen Porter to join the team at the distinguished Hale Country Club & Spa. The ideal candidate will be passionate and dedicated to delivering outstanding guest experiences by upholding exceptional operational standards and professionalism in all kitchen tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform simple food preparation duties as required.
- Ensure thorough cleaning and washing of all kitchen equipment, dishes, and areas.
- Manage the receipt and appropriate storage of deliveries.
- Handle waste disposal, including emptying bins, and maintain cleanliness by sweeping and mopping floors.
- Keep all kitchen equipment clean and stored correctly.
- Conduct deep cleaning of refrigerators and storage rooms to meet sanitary and safety standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience working in kitchen environments, preferably within luxury establishments.
- Comprehensive understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety regulations.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work cooperatively within a team.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and dependability.
- Effective communication skills.
- Competent time management capabilities.
- Analytical thinking skills to handle various situations.
- Proficiency in basic food preparation tasks, such as vegetable preparation.
