Role overview
We are looking for a committed Kitchen Porter to support the day-to-day running of the kitchen at Chartwells on a full-time basis. The position is set at 40 hours per week and is contracted for 38 weeks each year.
In this role, you will help maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, customer care, and kitchen support. You will also have the opportunity to develop your career with an employer that values people, recognises individual contribution, and rewards those who go the extra mile.
Key responsibilities
- Keep the kitchen area clean and maintained to a consistently high standard.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to support the preparation of fresh food.
- Make sure the chefs have the equipment and support they need to produce fresh dishes.
- Prepare blended drinks and serve food to a high standard that leaves customers satisfied.
- Contribute positively as an active and engaged team member.
- Represent Compass Group UK&I professionally and help uphold a strong brand image.
- Follow all Food Handling and Hygiene requirements.
- Work in line with Health and Safety policies and procedures.
