Role Overview

Work Environment

The role operates within the Joint Musculoskeletal Assessment and Pain Service (JMAPS) team, providing care to patients throughout Northumberland. Employment may require travel between various sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing patient caseloads presenting with musculoskeletal issues.
• Overseeing recovery of patients post orthopaedic surgeries.
• Engaging in continuous professional development including clinical supervision and training.
• Accurate documentation in compliance with Trust policies.

Professional Development

Continuous professional development (CPD) is actively promoted, with senior physiotherapy clinicians providing supervision and supporting personal learning goals through a structured appraisal system.

Additional Information

This role has no on-call or weekend duties. The Trust operates across multiple hospitals and clinics covering a large geographical area, including major hospitals such as North Tyneside, Wansbeck, and Hexham.
