About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll activities for Boskalis UAE entities and projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate the monthly payroll cycle, reviewing employee data such as hires, promotions, terminations, allowances, and deductions via Workday.
- Validate payroll calculations from external providers and create payroll communications and payslips.
- Monitor and approve employee time records and attendance, collaborating with Project HR to rectify discrepancies.
- Conduct reconciliations between payroll outputs, Workday records, and ledger data; analyze variances and maintain audit-ready documentation.
- Post payroll journals, accruals, and benefit provisions to the accounting system (INFOR-LN), supporting monthly and yearly closures.
- Calculate and process final settlements, leave payouts, end-of-service benefits, ensuring compliance with policies and labor laws.
- Serve as a liaison among HR, payroll services, finance teams, employees, and management to handle queries and payroll-related investigations.
- Support audits, maintain documentation, and seek improvements in payroll controls and systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, ideally within multinational or project-based organizations.
- Experience managing payroll for large employee groups across multiple jurisdictions and coordinating outsourced payroll providers.
- Proficiency in English communication, both written and spoken.
- Strong organizational skills and analytical thinking.
- Familiarity with ERP accounting software, particularly Infor LN.
- Preferably experienced with Ramco or comparable payroll software.
- Knowledge of UAE labor laws and financial accounting principles including month-end closings.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
