Kerry Consulting is a rapidly expanding tech firm creating innovative digital products catering to a global customer base. They are currently recruiting a Junior Frontend Engineer to craft user-friendly, efficient web applications and enhance user experience. This position offers a strong opportunity for entry-level software engineers to collaborate with seasoned product managers, designers, and backend developers while deepening their technical know-how in a supportive and cooperative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and sustain responsive web applications utilizing React and up-to-date frontend technologies.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and product managers to produce scalable and high-performing user interfaces that elevate user satisfaction.
- Convert design prototypes into reusable frontend components and integrate these interfaces with backend APIs.
- Enhance application efficiency and ensure compatibility across browsers and devices.
- Participate actively in code reviews, debugging, testing, and ongoing improvement of frontend engineering best practices while utilizing modern development techniques.
Candidate Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience in developing web applications within technology or digital product sectors.
- Practical experience with React, including component reuse, state management, and API integration (RESTful or GraphQL).
- Strong skills in JavaScript ES6+ or TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with frontend frameworks and tools like Next.js, Redux, Tailwind CSS, Material UI, Vite, or Webpack is a plus.
- Familiarity with Git version control, responsive design practices, unit testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines is desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and a dedication to creating superior user experiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional Agile teams, with eagerness to learn and adapt to new frontend technologies.
