Role Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Front-End Developer to join our remote-first team. This position involves supporting the creation, development, and upkeep of contemporary web applications and user interfaces. Partnering with experienced designers, developers, and product teams, you will help build responsive and engaging digital products while enhancing your technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive websites using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript suitable for mobile and desktop.
• Help create reusable UI components and interactive interfaces.
• Transform UI/UX designs into clean and responsive front-end code.
• Optimize websites for performance, speed, and user experience.
• Ensure compatibility across various browsers and devices.
• Identify and resolve front-end bugs and performance problems.
• Maintain and improve existing applications, adding features and refining UX.
• Participate in Agile processes such as sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, back-end developers, and product managers.
• Write clear, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding standards.
• Engage in testing, quality assurance, and code reviews.
• Continuously learn new front-end technologies, frameworks, and best practices.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience.
• Up to 2 years of front-end or web development experience, including internships, freelance, or personal projects.
• Fundamental knowledge of responsive web design principles.
• Familiarity with Git version control systems.
• Technical skills including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and basic experience with React.js, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Understanding of CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, browser developer tools, web accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Advantageous to have experience with TypeScript, state management libraries, Figma, build tools like Vite or Webpack, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytic, problem-solving, communication skills with ability to work independently and remotely.
• Reliable high-speed internet, personal computer for development tasks, dedicated quiet workspace, webcam, and headset are essential.

Work Hours and Environment

• Full-time remote position with flexible working hours aligned to team and project needs.
• Availability to collaborate across Middle East and North Africa time zones.
• Occasional virtual meetings may take place outside typical work hours.
