Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Junior Designer to join our rapidly expanding Digital team based in London. This role involves crafting high-quality creative and design outputs for clients across multiple sectors such as healthcare, media, technology, manufacturing, sports, food & drink, and financial services.
As a key member of the central Digital team, you will collaborate closely with the Lead Designer, Account Managers, and Client Services teams to produce a wide range of deliverables. These include video editing, social media graphics, report layouts, and PowerPoint presentations. The position requires interpreting client briefs and managing multiple projects with creativity and precision.
Responsibilities
- Develop various creative assets including video edits, social media visuals, reports, and presentations.
- Work alongside the Lead Designer and client-facing teams to ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
- Support new business initiatives by generating innovative ideas, creating assets, and assisting with pitch presentations.
- Effectively manage workloads and deadlines while maintaining open communication within teams.
- Participate in cross-company collaboration to support design needs and clarify expectations.
Required Skills and Experience
- Between 0 to 2 years of professional design experience.
- Formal education, training, or relevant work experience in design.
- A portfolio demonstrating high-quality work.
- Proficient in video editing and motion graphics.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent composition skills, and understanding of branding and color theory.
- Capability to contribute creative materials such as campaign content, social media collateral, branding, and toolkits.
- Social media savvy, with a good grasp of contemporary campaign trends.
- Solid foundation in typography, layout, color, hierarchy, and composition principles.
- Skilled in creating mock-ups and presentation visuals for internal/external use.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro.
- Enthusiastic participation in creative brainstorming, drawing inspiration from cultural trends to push boundaries.
- Competent in client communication regarding briefing, delivery, and project management for design assets.
Desirable Additional Skills
- Experience in website design and development.
- Print design capabilities.
- Illustration skills.
- Knowledge of Figma design tool.
