Job Summary
We are seeking janitors for both full-time and part-time roles to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of buildings. The roles include performing heavy cleaning tasks such as floors maintenance, carpet shampooing, wall and glass washing, and rubbish removal.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and dispose of trash following approved infection control procedures.
- Dust and damp mop floors using prescribed methods.
- Move equipment and furniture as needed for thorough cleaning, then replace them appropriately.
- Clean assigned areas using designated materials and equipment, sanitizing all surfaces according to the eight-step cleaning protocol.
- Wash walls, windows, furniture, and baseboards to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Identify and proactively clean areas requiring attention.
- Complete tasks assigned by supervisors efficiently.
- Adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations during tasks.
- Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors; shampoo carpets as required.
- Demonstrate professionalism and contribute positively to the team.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Experience and Requirements
- A minimum of one year of prior janitorial experience is required.
Work Schedule
Positions are available for both full-time and part-time schedules with days and hours varying; further details will be provided during the interview process.
Compensation
The pay rate is fixed at $16.07 per hour.
