IT Support Officer

Role Overview

The IT Support Officer position at Paraná Clube SAF involves providing daily remote technical assistance to staff members, ensuring continual operation of essential IT hardware and software systems. This part-time role centers on addressing support tickets, diagnosing issues with desktops, printers, and connectivity, and implementing timely solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to support queries and resolve technical problems related to desktop computers and printers.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components for optimal system performance.
• Monitor IT systems proactively to avoid service disruptions.
• Document all issues and their resolutions systematically and escalate complex matters as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance IT protocols and improve user satisfaction.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in technical support and troubleshooting, demonstrating efficient problem resolution.
• Sound knowledge of IT basics, including operating systems, networking, and standard business applications.
• Practical skills in managing desktop computer setup, configuration, and optimization.
• Experience supporting printers, including installation and resolving connection or printing problems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of simplifying technical information for users.
• Self-driven with ability to manage time and prioritize multiple issues in a remote work setting.
• Educational background or certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL preferred.
• Familiarity with support ticketing systems and documentation of incidents is advantageous.
