Role Overview

This full-time remote position as an Investment Analyst involves supporting deal execution and advising clients by conducting thorough financial modeling, valuation assessments, and due diligence focused on mid-market companies. Key responsibilities include examining financial statements, crafting investment reports and presentation materials, performing comprehensive market and sector research, and aiding in the supervision of investment portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze corporate financial documents for investment evaluation.
• Develop investment memoranda and persuasive pitch decks.
• Research industries and market trends to inform investment decisions.
• Support portfolio tracking and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with senior colleagues on transaction design and participate in client consultations.
• Stay informed on developments in capital markets and corporate finance.

Qualifications and Skills

• Solid theoretical and practical knowledge in Finance and Investments, with an understanding of corporate finance, valuation methods, and capital structures.
• Advanced analytical skills and expertise in financial modeling, including spreadsheet proficiency and quantitative analysis.
• Familiarity with portfolio management concepts and the assessment of risks and returns.
• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a closely related discipline; possession of additional certifications like CFA Level I is a plus.
• Proficient use of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and financial data platforms; experience with financial databases is advantageous.
• Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal, capable of conveying complex financial information clearly.
• High attention to detail, strong organization skills, and the capacity to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic deal-making environment.
• Demonstrable enthusiasm for corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and capital market operations, evidenced through internships or practical projects.
