Industrial Operations Working Supervisor

Job Overview

Samsic Facility Ireland invites applications for the position of Industrial Operations Working Supervisor based in Dublin and other locations nationwide. This permanent role involves overseeing a team delivering professional industrial cleaning services to blue-chip clients. The position includes managing various cleaning tasks, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Working Hours and Location

The role requires flexible working hours totalling 40 hours per week spread between Monday and Saturday, including evening shifts. Flexibility to travel nationwide, occasionally beyond the Munster region, is essential. Overtime opportunities are available according to company policy. The position operates across multiple sites, with travel demands varying.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate with industrial cleaning operatives to perform site-specific tasks such as deep facility cleaning, carpet and window cleaning (including pole wash), catering area sanitation, bio-hazard cleaning, work at heights, external cleaning, and pressure washing.
• Report directly to the Operations Manager and coordinate daily activities with the Operations Coordinator or designated representative.
• Guarantee top-quality completion of services on client sites and uphold client satisfaction through effective communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation and complete all daily paperwork thoroughly.
• Enforce adherence among staff to company policies regarding conduct, dress code, and work standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Proficiency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively for oneself and the team.
• Valid full, clean driving license is mandatory.
• Demonstrated capability to lead a team of operatives on-site and work independently under pressure while making decisive choices.
• Attention to detail and professional personal appearance.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in industrial cleaning sectors.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and methodologies.

Compensation

The hourly wage is €18.02 for up to 40 hours per week, with a flat rate for up to 48 hours. Overtime beyond 48 hours is paid at 1.25 times the standard rate.
