About the Role and Organization
Join Micron Technology, a pioneer in memory and storage innovation, dedicated to enriching lives globally through cutting-edge information usage. As an Industrial Engineer based in Singapore, you will play a crucial role in applying advanced analytics and AI technologies to optimize manufacturing capacity and capital planning in the semiconductor industry. This position emphasizes integrity, sustainability, and community involvement while driving innovation.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage and validate capacity models and capital expenditure plans to ensure cost-effective factory utilization aligned with volume requirements.
- Collaborate with facilities teams and area engineers to coordinate installation and placement of production tools.
- Innovate by integrating AI techniques alongside industrial and data engineering skills to enhance data modeling, capacity optimization, and scheduling.
- Implement project management and constraint removal methods to ensure manufacturing meets forecast commitments promptly.
- Develop effective visual presentations of factory constraints to facilitate improvements in production and cost efficiency.
- Engage various stakeholders to achieve balanced and optimized manufacturing outcomes acknowledging necessary trade-offs.
- Apply AI-driven technologies to enhance team efficiency and operational effectiveness on a daily basis while maintaining compliance and organizational standards.
- Promote continuous improvement culture by identifying and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within the scope of work.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related discipline is preferred.
- A minimum of two years demonstrated leadership experience in university or extra-curricular roles.
- Strong command of verbal communication, writing, and presentation capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to multitask efficiently and systematically manage workloads meeting deadlines with quality outputs.
- Excellent analytical, logical reasoning, and critical thinking aptitudes.
- Strong interpersonal abilities fostering collaboration across multiple organizational levels.
- Growth-oriented mindset aspiring for ongoing learning and personal development.
- Experience or familiarity with programming and utilization of generative AI tools such as chatbots and agentic AI systems.
- Previous experience or internships within the semiconductor sector considered advantageous.
- Passion for and understanding of the semiconductor industry and Micron’s mission.

- Capable of applying fundamental digital skills and AI literacy responsibly to improve research, analysis, content creation, and problem solving.
