Industrial Cleaner

Job Summary

The Industrial Cleaner is responsible for completing cleaning duties required under the service agreement with the customer in an industrial setting. The position also includes reporting concerns, incidents, or any unusual activity to a supervisor or manager.

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Workdays: Monday through Friday
• Morning and evening shifts are available

Compensation

Pay rate is $12.00 per hour, and pay is issued weekly.

Responsibilities

• Remove waste and recyclables from assigned areas.
• Sanitize restrooms thoroughly, including restocking supplies, cleaning trash receptacles, fixtures, mirrors, and dispensers, and sweeping or mopping floors as needed.
• Clean industrial floors and machinery.
• Maintain storage closets in a tidy and organized condition.
• Carry out additional tasks based on job scope or customer requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or at least 6 months of experience in a janitorial role.
• Training will be provided on the job.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions accurately.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work.
• Familiarity with custodial procedures and commercial cleaning expectations.
• Working knowledge of floor maintenance methods such as buffing and waxing.
• Background in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance.
