Role Overview

We seek a diligent, proactive Human Resources Coordinator who thrives on organization and fostering a positive employee experience. This position supports daily HR functions including administration, recruitment coordination, compliance, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain precise and confidential employee records in the HRIS system adhering to healthcare and labor laws.
  • Monitor employee status changes, certification updates, and documentation compliance.
  • Act as the initial contact for routine HR inquiries from staff members.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations, including healthcare-specific mandates.
  • Track completion of mandatory trainings such as HIPAA, OSHA, harassment prevention, and safety programs.
  • Assist with audits, documentation requests, background checks, reference verifications, and pre-employment screenings.
  • Support employees with benefits enrollment, modifications, and inquiries while coordinating with benefits providers and brokers.
  • Facilitate performance review cycles by scheduling, documenting, and monitoring timely completion of evaluations.
  • Maintain records related to performance appraisals and assist with corrective actions and disciplinary procedures.
  • Track employee objectives, performance improvement plans, and their outcomes.
  • Generate HR reports concerning headcount, turnover rates, attendance, and performance metrics.
  • Support initiatives for employee engagement, wellness, and retention.
  • Assist HR leadership with special projects and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Two to three years of experience in HR administration.
  • Knowledge of HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Experience supporting benefits administration and performance management processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Professional HR certifications such as SHRM are advantageous but not mandatory.
