Role Overview

This role offers an exciting opportunity for an HR professional with commercial acumen to make a significant contribution to a growing global organisation. You will become a vital part of the APAC team, working closely with manufacturing and operations to foster a safe, engaged, and high-performing culture aligned with company values.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement APAC-wide HR policies and procedures, promoting best practices that support a culture of high performance.
• Lead recruitment and onboarding processes within New Zealand operations to ensure exceptional experiences for candidates and employees.
• Support initiatives related to performance management, professional development, and capability building.
• Collaborate with leadership to enhance employee engagement, build team capabilities, and encourage effective people management.
• Assist with Health & Safety programs and risk management efforts to promote a safety-centric workplace environment.
• Provide detailed reporting and analysis on recruitment, Health & Safety, and workforce metrics to guide decision-making.
• Ensure full compliance with New Zealand employment laws, Health & Safety standards, and internal company policies.

Candidate Profile

• At least 5 years of experience as a Human Resources Business Partner or HR Generalist.
• Deep understanding of New Zealand's Employment Relations legislation and workplace practices.
• Experience working in operational settings such as manufacturing, logistics, FMCG, or food production.
• Ability to engage confidently with frontline employees, managers, and senior stakeholders.
• Strong skills in coaching, communication, and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Experience delivering training sessions, workshops, and development programs.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands.
• A mindset focused on continuous improvement and challenging existing processes.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Employment Relations, Business, or related field.
