About the Role
A prominent global investment firm invites applications for the position of Human Capital Operations Associate based in their Manhattan, New York office. This role encompasses a wide range of HR functions aimed at optimizing employee lifecycle management and supporting strategic human capital activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage processes related to employee onboarding, offboarding, and all lifecycle events including documentation, system updates, and maintaining personnel records.
- Ensure accurate and compliant maintenance of employee information across HRIS, payroll, compensation, and reporting platforms.
- Oversee multi-country payroll submissions, benefits administration, immigration procedures, and year-end payroll documentation tasks.
- Conduct reviews of payroll activities including transactions, reconciliations, and audit documentation to guarantee precise payroll processing.
- Assist in compensation strategy via market benchmarking, workforce data analysis, and development of compensation models.
- Generate comprehensive reports on headcount, hiring, compensation, and workforce metrics to aid leadership and planning efforts.
- Coordinate recruiting efforts such as scheduling interviews, tracking candidates, managing background checks, and preparing for onboarding.
- Support performance management systems by facilitating reviews, talent evaluations, and managing HR system operations.
- Maintain up-to-date HR policies, employee handbooks, and ensure adherence to employment laws across various regions.
- Participate in employee engagement and organizational development initiatives as well as continuous enhancement of HR workflows.
Candidate Requirements
- A bachelor's degree is mandatory.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in HR, human capital operations, compensation, finance, or related analytical or operational roles.
- Experience in the financial services sector is strongly favored.
- Preferred prior interaction with external vendors such as payroll providers, benefits administrators, immigration attorneys, background screening firms, or similar.
- Enthusiasm for comprehensive human capital functions including operations, compensation, payroll, recruiting, performance management, compliance, and employee engagement.
- Robust analytical capabilities paired with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to efficiently handle routine operational tasks and adapt to varying project demands and shifting priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially with structured data sets, formulas, PivotTables, and regular reporting; experience in compensation modeling is advantageous.
