Role Overview
Join White's IGA, a respected independent supermarket group located on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, for a full-time HR Generalist position. This role offers a broad range of HR responsibilities focused on partnering with store management to enhance recruitment, onboarding, and learning & development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Store Leaders to attract and integrate new employees effectively.
- Create and implement compelling learning programs aimed at strengthening store team capabilities.
- Develop and maintain training plans, educational materials, and learning pathways tailored to organisational needs.
- Ensure training completion rates meet requirements and that the business complies with relevant standards.
- Oversee the Learning Management System (IGA Training Academy) including training data and reporting functions.
- Assist with workforce planning and recruitment efforts during busy periods and contribute to wider HR projects.
Candidate Profile
- Professional background in Talent & Development, Learning & Development, HR, or related people-oriented roles.
- Passionate about employee development and crafting engaging educational experiences.
- Proven experience in managing an LMS and coordinating training activities.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 tools and Copilot, demonstrating adaptability to emerging technology.
- Skilled at establishing trusted relationships and influencing stakeholders across multiple locations.
- Excellent organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and capacity to juggle several priorities.
- Experience in retail or overseeing multiple sites considered a benefit.
- Relevant qualifications such as Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or studies in HR/Business.
