Role Summary

The Housekeeping Specialist position is a full-time, onsite role located in Dehradun. The individual in this role is charged with the upkeep and cleanliness of guest rooms, hallways, and communal spaces, ensuring hygiene and presentation meet established standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Replace linens, make beds, and replenish guest amenities.
• Report any maintenance issues encountered during cleaning rounds.
• Greet and interact politely with guests, addressing service requests efficiently.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and front office staff to fulfill operational requirements.
• Manage laundry tasks such as sorting, washing, drying, and ironing linens and guest garments.
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines consistently.
• Participate in ongoing training to maintain and improve quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Competence in housekeeping duties including room cleaning, sanitation, and organization.
• Experience with laundry handling and related operations.
• Strong communication and customer service capabilities to engage professionally with guests and colleagues.
• Training aptitude for quick learning and team knowledge sharing.
• Prior experience in hospitality or facility housekeeping roles is preferred.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and perform duties for extended durations.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products, proper equipment use, and safety precautions.
• High school education or equivalent is advantageous but not compulsory.
