Position Summary

This role involves performing specialized cleaning and disinfection tasks within ambulatory healthcare environments. Work areas include restrooms, patient rooms, exam and procedure rooms, as well as other specialized spaces.

Primary Responsibilities

• Use designated chemicals to disinfect various surfaces thoroughly.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, vents, window sills, and ledges.
• Clean entrance windows and reception glass areas effectively.
• Move furniture, waste and biohazard bins, small wheeled equipment, and other items to facilitate comprehensive cleaning; realign items as per layout guidelines.
• Sweep, dust, mop, and vacuum floors; perform carpet and upholstery spot cleaning as needed.
• Collect and properly dispose of general trash and biohazardous waste; maintain cleanliness of waste containers.
• Replenish supplies including soap, hand sanitizer, paper towels, toilet paper, and trash bags regularly.
• Keep cleaning equipment, tools, and storage areas clean and organized.
• Operate alarm systems to arm and disarm premises.
• Carry out additional duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or clinical cleaning is required.
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

Work Schedule & Location

Position is full-time based at Lehigh Valley Health Network - 4815 Tilghman Street, Allentown, PA 18103. The working schedule is Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Additional details will be provided during the interview.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this role is $17.75.
