Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor

Position Overview

The Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor at Four Points by Sheraton in Riyadh is responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in housekeeping and public areas within the hotel. This role encompasses inspecting guest rooms, common spaces, and other areas post-cleaning to guarantee excellence and coordinating key operations across departments.

Key Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, public areas, swimming pool, and other spaces after cleaning by housekeeping staff to confirm quality compliance.
• Manage sold room reports, verify the status of rooms, identify discrepancies, prioritize cleaning tasks, and update room readiness, particularly for departing guests.
• Provide support to housekeeping management in overseeing daily tasks and workflows.
• Serve as the communication bridge linking Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry teams to enhance coordination.
• Document and resolve room discrepancies in collaboration with the Front Desk and communicate room assignment adjustments effectively.
• Report all relevant information, including shift changes and any operational issues, through proper documentation and communication channels.

Team Leadership and Administration

• Assist management in recruitment, training, rostering, performance evaluations, employee counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching activities.
• Enforce company policies related to safety, security, and professionalism while ensuring a clean and appropriate uniform/personal appearance among staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company data and protect company assets diligently.

Guest Relations and Professional Conduct

• Welcome guests warmly in line with company protocols, anticipate and address their service requirements, assist guests with disabilities, and express genuine gratitude to all guests.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and guests, fostering positive workplace relationships through active listening and empathetic responses.
• Strictly uphold quality standards and expectations throughout all housekeeping activities.

Physical and Technical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 55 pounds independently and heavier loads with assistance.
• Capability to maneuver loaded housekeeping carts and related equipment over varied terrain, including slopes and uneven surfaces.
• Perform physical activities including reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, standing, sitting, kneeling, and walking for extended periods.
• Use fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for handling various objects.
• Operate computers or point of sale systems to enter and retrieve work-related information.
• Visually inspect and verify information presented in different formats, including small print.
