Overview
This role is for a head custodian overseeing cleaning services at School District No. 52 in Prince Rupert, British Columbia. The position is based at the worksite and must be carried out in person; remote work is not available.
Language

Education
No degree, certificate, or diploma is needed for this position.
Experience
Applicants should have 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Arrange training for cleaning staff or directly train them.
- Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day activities of workers.
- Check facilities and job sites to confirm that safety and cleanliness requirements are being met.
- Prepare budgets and estimate related costs.
- Suggest or organize extra services such as painting, repairs, renovations, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
- Support cleaners by assisting with their tasks when needed.
- Coordinate work with other departments.
- Set and maintain work schedules.
