Job Overview and Responsibilities
We are looking for a Hardware Design Engineer with practical experience in embedded hardware development. The role involves conceptualizing, designing, testing, and validating embedded system hardware with a focus on microcontroller-based designs and PCB schematic and layouts. Responsibilities include selecting components thoughtfully, ensuring reliability, and performing detailed testing and debugging of prototypes and finalized hardware.
- Develop hardware systems through schematics and printed circuit board layouts.
- Choose and validate electronic components to ensure optimal and dependable designs.
- Conduct comprehensive testing, debugging, and verification for hardware prototypes and production units.
- Work collaboratively across firmware, software, and mechanical engineering teams to ensure smooth system integration.
- Handle hardware inventory management, procurement processes, and bill of materials (BOM) preparation.
- Maintain documentation for designs, technical specifications, and test analysis.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to the enhancement of hardware development workflows.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Computer Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, or related electronics/electrical fields.
