Ground Operations Team Member

About the Role

Join our team as a Ground Operations Team Member, where your passion for field operations will help ensure seamless and efficient daily procedures. This position involves extensive fieldwork, visiting various branches, liaising with captains, and maintaining high operational standards across all sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily visits to stores and collection points managing captains' performance monitoring.
• Provide proper training to newly onboarded captains to align with the company's operational guidelines.
• Regularly audit the captain waiting areas and workspaces to uphold safety and quality benchmarks.
• Monitor captains’ performance focusing on on-time deliveries, dress code adherence, accurate reporting, and timely issue escalation to ground supervisors.
• Accompany captains on delivery trips to evaluate performance, track delivery goal achievements, and identify areas needing improvement.
• Report all challenges and issues encountered by captains promptly for resolution.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferably hold a diploma or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or related areas.
• Basic knowledge of logistics and ground handling operations is essential.
• Proficient in basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and logistics-related software.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced working environment and handle shifting priorities efficiently.
• Experience coordinating with drivers or captains ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Awareness of safety and security protocols relevant to logistics or aviation sectors.
