Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards in the grocery area by ensuring the space is clean, well-organized, correctly zoned, and customer-ready at all times.
• Regularly rotate products and remove any expired or damaged goods to uphold product freshness and quality.
• Accurately price and sign merchandise, adhering to company procedures regarding ordering, clearance, markdowns, signage, labeling, and flagging.
• Adhere strictly to food safety, handling, sanitation, and cleaning protocols to create and maintain a safe, hygienic workplace.
• Ensure complete stocking and readiness of the department by handling merchandise placement, downstocking as necessary, protecting products, and setting up modular displays including flex modulars and shelf caps.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and internal policies to guarantee a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment.
• Demonstrate flexibility in work availability by being willing to work various shifts, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet store demands and maintain smooth operations.
• Effectively manage a high volume of tasks in a fast-paced setting, particularly during overnight shifts, planning and pacing work to maintain energy and focus while completing restocking and recovery duties efficiently and on time.
• Meet physical requirements including standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting items weighing up to 20 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs, alongside performing repetitive stocking, zoning, and organizing tasks consistently to uphold standards.

Compensation

The base hourly wage for this position begins at $17.75.
