Role Overview

We seek an experienced Graphic Design Lead proficient in image retouching using Adobe Photoshop. The ideal candidate excels under tight deadlines and values systematic file organization as highly as delivering exceptional image edits. This role combines creative tasks with administrative responsibilities to maintain an efficient design asset library.

Working Arrangement

• Hybrid role based at our Antrim office in Northern Ireland, with some remote days during the week.
• Flexible working hours between 8am and 6pm to accommodate personal preferences.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and refine high-quality digital visuals for social media, websites, emails, and marketing materials.
• Manually retouch product photos in Photoshop to align with brand standards, demonstrating true photo manipulation expertise.
• Ensure all designs reflect The Present Tree’s aesthetic featuring natural tones, clean layout, and a premium look.
• Oversee design files from creation to storage, including consistent renaming, folder organization, and version control to facilitate easy access and reuse.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of file-naming conventions and organizational systems.
• Collaborate closely with marketing and social media teams to understand briefs and deliver polished design outputs with minimal need for revision.
• Resize and adapt assets to suit various platforms and formats.
• Prepare files in formats suitable for both web and print applications.
• Support creation of Shopify product images and other e-commerce-related graphics.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Outstanding Adobe Photoshop abilities, specifically hand-executed retouching and compositing; AI-generated images are not acceptable.
• Strong proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite; knowledge of Illustrator and InDesign is an advantage.
• A portfolio demonstrating superior digital retouching work.
• Disciplined administration skills: experienced in orderly file naming, renaming, and logical folder structure management for large quantities of design files.
• Background in lifestyle, gifting, retail, or e-commerce brand sectors.
• Excellent eye for detail and visual style appropriate for premium brands.
• Ability to interpret project briefs independently and produce polished results with limited revision.
• Experience handling diverse workloads with competing deadlines.
• Strong communication and a collaborative, positive mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Shopify product image creation and other e-commerce design assets.
• Familiarity with Canva for developing team-accessible design templates.
• Experience implementing digital asset management systems or shared drive organizational structures.
