Role overview

Kilsaran Precast in Oranmore, County Galway is a specialist, high-performance business providing a complete precast solution from design and manufacture through to installation. Its fully automated plants in Kildare and Galway are advanced, BIM-led facilities that are not limited by fixed moulds.

In this role, you will support a range of day-to-day production tasks within the precast hollowcore process.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare production areas for prestressed hollowcore manufacturing by cleaning and setting up beds for casting.
• Work with machinery and equipment used in the prestressed hollowcore production process.
• Spot issues during production preparation or setup and help resolve them promptly.
• Follow all workplace safety rules and procedures to ensure a safe environment.
• Use the required personal protective equipment and comply with established PPE practices.

Skills and experience

• Background in precast concrete or construction environments.
• Prior prestressing experience is an advantage.
• Good attention to detail with a strong focus on safety compliance.
• Confident use of hand tools and power tools.
