Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site leadership position in Columbus, OH. The General Manager Logistics will be responsible for the smooth running of day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations, covering receiving, storage, picking, packing, and outbound distribution.

The role includes leading and developing the on-site workforce, setting clear performance targets, tracking operational KPIs, and driving ongoing process improvements. The position also involves budget ownership, compliance with safety and quality expectations, coordination with internal and external partners, and support for strategic planning and new customer onboarding. Success in this role means consistently meeting or exceeding service-level commitments for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse and logistics activities across inbound, storage, order fulfillment, and outbound movement.
• Guide, coach, and develop on-site teams while establishing performance expectations and accountability measures.
• Monitor key operational metrics and use performance data to identify and implement improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts to increase productivity, accuracy, and overall service quality.
• Manage budgets and support cost control across logistics and warehouse operations.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational compliance standards.
• Work closely with internal teams, external stakeholders, and customers to improve supply chain performance.
• Contribute to strategic planning and help execute new customer implementations.
• Maintain service levels that meet or exceed client requirements and expectations.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in operations leadership, with a track record of managing teams, improving performance, and optimizing processes.
• Knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations, including transportation, inventory movement, and distribution coordination.
• Practical warehouse management experience, including space planning, resource allocation, and safety/quality compliance.
• Background in budgeting, financial control, and managing costs in logistics or operations settings.
• Ability to succeed in a fast-moving, high-volume environment, ideally in fashion, lifestyle, or e-commerce logistics.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with confidence using KPIs and data to support decisions.
• Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills across functions and customer groups.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related area, or equivalent hands-on experience.
