Descripción del trabajo
Company Overview
SERENA LI is a modern apparel label that aims to merge everyday ready-to-wear with technical performance clothing. The brand is built around practical function and innovation, reworking timeless silhouettes through advanced fabrics, construction techniques, and design-led thinking. Its collections are created to bring together style, comfort, and technical usefulness for customers across global markets. The team works closely across design, operations, and technology to help shape a fast-moving, future-oriented brand.
Role Overview
The General Manager, Global Operations is a full-time remote position focused on managing operational performance across all regions. The role is responsible for overseeing the full global supply chain, including production planning, sourcing, inventory control, and logistics coordination, to ensure on-time delivery and consistent product quality.
This position brings together teams across design, production, merchandising, and sales so that business priorities stay aligned with brand goals and operations run efficiently. The role also involves monitoring performance metrics, improving workflows, handling vendor and partner relationships, and addressing operational challenges as they arise.
Key Responsibilities
The role covers budget oversight, compliance management, and risk reduction, while also supporting ongoing improvement efforts that help the business scale in a sustainable way.
Qualifications
Applicants should bring strong experience in global operations and supply chain management, with hands-on knowledge of production planning, logistics, and inventory control. The role calls for a track record in improving processes, measuring performance, and using data to guide decisions across multiple regions.
Successful candidates should have demonstrated leadership in managing distributed teams, working across functions, and communicating effectively with stakeholders. Experience in apparel, fashion, or consumer goods operations is important, with a preference for exposure to technical or performance wear.
The position also requires the ability to handle budgets, contracts, and supplier relationships while balancing cost control with quality standards. Familiarity with operational tools such as ERP systems, inventory management platforms, production tracking systems, and reporting tools is expected.
Strong strategic judgment, problem-solving ability, organization, and attention to detail are essential. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related discipline is required; an advanced degree is a plus. Candidates should also be comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly as the company expands globally.
