Role Overview
One Haus is seeking a General Manager to oversee daily bakery operations with a strong emphasis on hospitality and quality. This leadership role demands hands-on management, active engagement on the floor, and a commitment to fostering an accountable, high-performing team culture in a fast-paced, guest-facing setting.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily bakery operations ensuring consistently excellent guest experiences.
- Maintain an active on-floor presence, especially during busy periods.
- Recruit, train, and develop front-of-house staff to build a cohesive team.
- Foster a positive and accountable workplace culture focused on performance.
- Manage scheduling and optimize labor efficiency to balance staffing needs.
- Oversee inventory control, ordering processes, and uphold product quality standards.
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Handle store-level financials including labor management and cost controls.
- Execute administrative duties such as reporting, payroll management, and organization.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years experience in a General Manager or senior leadership role.
- Background in bakery, café, fast-casual, or hospitality-focused environments.
- Proven capability managing day-to-day operations in busy, high-volume settings.
- Strong knowledge of team leadership, scheduling, and operational systems.
- Preferred experience with managing store P&L and financial performance.
- Familiarity with inventory systems, reporting tools, and compliance standards is advantageous.
- Exposure to multi-unit operations or growth-oriented business models is a plus.
