Join the Green Team in Lloydminster, AB! GFL Environmental seeks a diligent and motivated General Labourer to support yard and maintenance operations. This role involves hands-on tasks and active outdoor work, with a focus on keeping operations moving efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance tasks around the site.
• Perform bin repairs including patching, painting, and fixing lids or wheels to maintain client-ready inventory.
• Keep the workshop clean and organized by managing spills, debris, and maintaining tools.
• Operate a skid steer to move, stack, and organize bins effectively throughout the yard.
• Conduct snow removal on yard areas and walkways during winter using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Manage bin inventory by tracking and counting yard stock to assist dispatch coordination.

Candidate Profile

• Mechanical aptitude with comfort in using hand and power tools.
• Experience operating skid steer equipment is highly valued; a valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean record is required.
• Physical robustness to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied weather conditions typical of Grande Prairie.
• Dependability with a strong attendance record and readiness to support team needs.
• Commitment to safety with adherence to PPE and safety procedures.
• Holding valid safety certifications is advantageous.
