Role Overview

As a Multi Skilled Worker with Compass Group Canada in Owen Sound, Ontario, you will contribute to daily operational support through diverse tasks including cleaning, food preparation, serving, and dishwashing. Your efforts will ensure that both residents and the workplace environment receive consistent care and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in residents' rooms and shared spaces by performing thorough housekeeping duties.
• Assist with food-related activities such as preparing meals, arranging and clearing chairs and tables, serving food, delivering meal trays, washing dishes, and keeping the kitchen area sanitary.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols, promptly report any injuries or hazardous situations to supervisors, and comply with management requests.

Qualifications and Experience

• Must hold a valid Food Handler Certificate or a recognized provincial equivalent.
• Prior experience in housekeeping and food service is beneficial.
• Experience working in healthcare or long-term care settings is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to accurately follow both oral and written instructions.
