Food Counter Attendant

Overview

Mary Brown's Chicken is looking for a food counter attendant to work from its Pasadena, Newfoundland and Labrador location. This role is based at the physical workplace only, and all duties must be performed onsite. The position may involve working at various locations.

Experience

No prior experience is necessary; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry clean dishes, flatware, and related serving items to service areas and arrange tables as needed.
• Track how much food is used and keep quantity records.
• Pack food for take-out orders.
• Portion foods and wrap them for service.
• Prepare, reheat, and finish simple menu items.
• Serve guests at counters or buffet stations.
• Replenish refrigerators and salad bars.
• Take customer orders.
• Operate manual and electric equipment to clean, peel, slice, and trim food products.
• Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including counters, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and other equipment.
• Receive, unpack, and organize supplies in cold storage, cupboards, and other storage spaces.
• Dispose of kitchen waste and garbage.
• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• Wash, peel, and cut fruits and vegetables.
