Overview
The Financing & Client Services (FCS) team oversees multiple cross-functional operations within the Financing Bank, including managing agency and transaction processes, providing client servicing for Cash & RSF products, and supporting KYC. It plays a crucial role in fueling business growth while maintaining operational excellence and stringent risk controls. This Analyst/Associate position is part of the Cash & RSF client servicing segment within FCS, focusing on supporting RSF transaction execution and client servicing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete RSF transaction cycle coordinating with both clients and internal teams, including manual and automated platform deals, covering KYC onboarding, drawdowns, settlements, and reporting tasks.
- Verify and validate all supporting documentation like invoices, contracts, and facility terms to ensure alignment with internal credit approvals.
- Manage post-transaction follow-ups such as routine sampling checks in partnership with clients and operations teams.
- Administer credit risk insurance processes and coordinate with internal departments (Front Office, Operations, Risk, Compliance) for smooth transaction handling.
- Engage external agent banks for participation deals when necessary.
- Provide daily and weekly indicative loan and deposit rates, collaborating with Treasury, Front Office, and Finance to confirm pricing accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Handle the entire lifecycle of bilateral loan and deposit transactions, including booking, payment releases, repayments, and responding to client inquiries concerning account balances, statements, audit confirmations, and facility utilization.
- Serve as the primary operational contact for Front Office and clients regarding RSF matters, supporting onboarding of new RSF programs and related KYC and platform setup.
- Manage supplier onboarding for Supply Chain Finance initiatives and deliver client support including RSF platform training, request management, query resolution, troubleshooting, and preparing client reports.
- Ensure effective communication and swift issue resolution to uphold client satisfaction and strengthen business relationships.
- Leverage Excel macros and other automation tools to streamline workflows, minimize manual processes, and improve data accuracy.
- Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of system tools and enhancements.
- Contribute to initiatives related to regulatory compliance updates, audit remediation, new process implementation, and system improvements.
- Participate in the continuous development of the FCS Operating Model, including Target Operating Model implementations and team role transitions.
- Support various ad hoc projects and cross-functional enhancements within the FCS function.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and internal standards, including Singapore Compliance manuals and policies, financial crime prevention, and reporting obligations.
- Maintain updated professional knowledge and complete mandatory training to remain qualified.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of at least a Bachelor's degree in Banking & Finance or related field.
- Demonstrated 2 to 3 years of experience in banking, middle office operations, KYC procedures, and client servicing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong Excel skills with capability to create and maintain macros for process automation preferred but not essential.
- Prior knowledge of RSF products such as factoring, receivables financing, and supplier finance is advantageous.
- Exceptionally analytical with the ability to identify critical information, evaluate risks, and efficiently solve problems.
- Highly organized, attentive to detail, and able to perform well under tight deadlines.
- Effective communicator with excellent verbal and written skills, comfortable engaging with clients and stakeholders at various levels.
- Customer-focused and a collaborative team player with strong relationship-building skills.
- Self-starter with proactivity, eagerness to learn, and aptitude for juggling multiple priorities concurrently.
- Sound judgment and decisiveness in decision-making while demonstrating assertiveness.
