A fast-growing financial consulting practice is hiring a Financial Modeling Analyst to assist with business valuation and financial advisory assignments. The position is centered on analysis, valuation modeling, and the creation of reports used for mergers and acquisitions, ownership changes, strategic planning, and similar business decisions. Key responsibilities

  • Carry out business valuation work using DCF, market comparison, and other accepted valuation methods.
  • Review financial statements, identify key value drivers, and develop financial models.

  • Build valuation reports, presentation materials, and supporting files.
  • Study industry trends and market information to inform valuation assumptions.
  • Work alongside senior colleagues to complete valuation engagements.

Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in business valuation, financial analysis, corporate finance, or a similar area.
  • Good working knowledge of financial statements and valuation approaches.
