Company Context and Environment
TotalEnergies Renewables Development in the Middle East comprises small affiliates under Total Renewables ownership. As a relatively new and developing entity, organizational structures, processes, and procedures are still evolving. This dynamic environment calls for adaptability, autonomy, and strong analytical and synthesis capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports including Comfi, WCR, and detailed projects/assets expense analyses with KPI dashboards, presenting findings to management as needed.
- Ensure accurate recording of all expenditures, payroll, and revenues in accounting books; verify entries in MBC/SAP.
- Review monthly payroll processed by HR and execute payroll payments via SCB Bank Portal.
- Validate monthly HR MBC entries.
- Handle processing of employee expense claims payments through the SCB Bank Portal.
- Manage formulation of the annual budget and closing forecasts, including their final presentations and any related analyses.
- Develop the company's long-term financial plan (5 to 10 years) aligned with HQ directives.
- Monitor treasury functions and cash flow requirements for operational and capital expenditure payment requests across entities.
- Liaise with various departments and stakeholders to collect necessary information and prepare Long-Term Plan presentations for management and headquarters.
- Ensure timely completion and issuance of the annual financial statements and manage interim and final audit activities for all entities in scope.
- Serve as treasury backup for supplier payments via bank portals when required.
- Coordinate all audit-related tasks and reporting with external auditors, preparing comprehensive financial statements.
- Oversee monthly reconciliations and detailed analyses of all relevant profit & loss and balance sheet accounts as part of closing activities.
- Document and enhance business processes and accounting policies to reinforce internal control systems.
- Prepare and submit the quarterly CAP consolidation report on the CAP Portal for all consolidated legal entities.
- Set up cost centers and profit centers in SAP as needed.
- Process reversal of SAP/MBC entries per team requests.
- Verify vendor registration forms and confirm supplier data directly with vendors.
- Ensure timely compliance with local and regional regulatory declarations.
- Participate in various team projects, collaborating cross-functionally.
- Conduct supplier payments in the SCB Bank portal as required.
- Perform other tasks as delegated.
Candidate Profile
- Education: Master's degree in economics or minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
- Knowledge: Strong foundation in accounting and finance, proficient in Excel and database management. Familiarity with SAP, MBC, and consolidation software is essential.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication abilities with an aptitude for working across all organizational levels. Capable multitasker with effective problem-solving skills and initiative. Meticulous attention to detail and analytical mindset.
- Experience: At least 10 years of professional experience in financial controlling, accounting, or finance departments.
- Languages: Fluency in both English and French.
