Financial Accountant

Position Overview

We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join a reputable, well-established Irish company with a significant national footprint. This important role is based in West Dublin with opportunities for hybrid working arrangements. The successful candidate will contribute to the growth of the finance team by managing a variety of accounting and reporting functions across multiple business divisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and ensure accuracy of financial reports.
• Support the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and management reporting.
• Assist in consolidated financial reporting and perform cash flow analysis to inform business decisions.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting cycles, providing insightful variance analyses.
• Collaborate with regional finance teams and senior leadership to provide meaningful financial insights.
• Support statutory audit processes and assist with improving finance systems and reporting methods.

Qualifications and Experience

• ACA, ACCA, or CPA qualified, or nearing completion of these qualifications.
• Relevant prior experience in an industry finance role is essential.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
• Excellent communication abilities for liaising with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in accounting ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from €55,000 to €70,000 annually, dependent on experience, along with bonus opportunities and additional benefits.
