Role Overview
As a Finance Executive reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will oversee financial management tasks for the town council, ensuring efficient operation and compliance across various financial functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer grants, assets, internal fund transfers, and tax reporting to maintain accurate financial governance for the township.
- Ensure adherence to financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and review the annual budget to facilitate effective financial planning and allocation of resources.
- Implement budget controls and manage arrears to maximize financial efficiency.
- Compile financial statements that accurately present the town council's financial status.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all financial transactions to support strong internal controls.
- Perform any additional finance-related duties as assigned to support operational needs.
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or ACCA certification accompanied by 3 to 5 years of full accounting cycle experience.
- Strong command of MS Office, notably Excel and Word.
- Excellent analytical capabilities to interpret complex financial data and meet strict deadlines.
- Keen attention to detail, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
- Supervisory experience and ability to manage team members is a plus.
- Ability to commence work promptly is preferred.
Work Conditions and Additional Details
- Employment is offered on a two-year renewable contract basis including benefits.
- Work location is situated in Northwest Singapore, covering Bukit Gombak, Tengah, and Choa Chu Kang areas.
- Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with work on the first Saturday of each month from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.
