Position Summary
The Executive Recruiter role is pivotal for driving revenue growth and acquiring top talent. This professional manages the entire recruitment process end-to-end, from securing new clients to sourcing exceptional candidates. The role requires a proactive and determined mindset to build a client portfolio through strategic outreach while maintaining a robust pipeline of highly qualified talent.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement aggressive outreach activities to prospect, present, and close staffing service agreements with new companies.
- Develop and sustain consultative, long-term partnerships with hiring managers and HR leaders, positioning yourself as their main talent acquisition resource.
- Expand existing client engagements by uncovering additional hiring demands across various departments and offering complementary staffing solutions.
- Oversee the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, evaluating, interviewing, and placing candidates for temporary, temp-to-hire, and permanent roles.
- Actively source passive high-caliber candidates using advanced search techniques, social media channels, referrals, and professional network connections.
- Lead negotiations regarding billing rates, conversion fees, and direct hire terms to optimize sales outcomes.
- Conduct thorough candidate screenings that assess technical capabilities, experience suitability, and cultural compatibility to guarantee quality placements.
- Coordinate interview scheduling, facilitate constructive feedback exchange, and manage offer stages effectively for both clients and candidates.
- Maintain meticulous, up-to-date documentation of all sales efforts and candidate interactions within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum three years of experience developing business specifically within staffing or adjacent HR industries such as HR tech, payroll, or professional employer organizations.
- Expertise using sourcing tools, social recruiting platforms, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to cultivate strong professional relationships.
- Capacity to manage multiple recruitment assignments and shifting priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and commonly used business software.
- Self-driven, collaborative team player, focused on achieving ambitious goals and excelling in business development initiatives.
