Role Overview

The Executive Director is a full-time remote leadership position responsible for steering the strategic, operational, and cultural direction of M.P.L. The role involves crafting and executing the overall vision and long-term plans aligned with the company's luxury market stance and Franco-Italian heritage. Daily duties include managing operations, overseeing financial budgets and performance, and driving organizational growth through sustainable practices. The Executive Director nurtures and grows luxury brand partnerships, monitors industry trends, encourages innovation, and ensures artisanal quality standards are upheld. They will lead diverse teams, promote a collaborative and inclusive culture, and provide regular updates to company ownership on performance, risk, and opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in strategic leadership, including long-term planning, organizational growth, and managing change.
• Strong financial expertise with capabilities in budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing business performance.
• Background in luxury goods, fashion, leather products, or high-end manufacturing with a passion for craftsmanship and excellence.
• Effective stakeholder and partnership management, building relationships with brand collaborators, suppliers, and international teams.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills capable of inspiring and aligning stakeholders at every level.
• Demonstrated people management skills, talent cultivation, and fostering an inclusive work environment.
• Competent in project and process management, able to prioritize and streamline workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of French and/or Italian is advantageous for coordinating with partners and within the group.
• Experience leading remotely with proficient use of digital collaboration tools and managing distributed teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred.
