Executive Assistant to the CEO

About the Role

Complete Play Discovery is evolving from an inclusive playground into New York City's premier family destination featuring a Children's Science Museum, Inclusive School, Teen Innovation Lounge, Sports Center, and Parent Lounge, all situated in Lower Manhattan. We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and mission-oriented professional to serve as the Founder & CEO's Executive Assistant and strategic partner, aiding in daily operations and key projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage the CEO’s priorities, schedule meetings, and track project follow-ups.
• Develop presentations, proposals, and communications materials.
• Support special initiatives and coordinate organizational efforts as needed.
• Assist in fundraising activities by preparing donor documents, researching potential sponsors and partners, and aiding outreach efforts.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, consultants, vendors, and exhibit producers on project coordination.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Effective in research, project management, and handling diverse priorities simultaneously.
• Experience in nonprofit fundraising, donor relations, or partnership development is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, presentation software, and AI-enabled productivity tools.
• Thrives in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
• Passionate about inclusion, children’s education, STEAM fields, and making a community impact.

Role Details and Benefits

• Hybrid position based in New York City with a flexible work schedule and some in-office presence.
• Reports directly to the Founder & CEO.
• Occasional attendance at evening events such as donor receptions and the annual gala.
• Salary range is $70,000 to $85,000, depending on experience, plus eligibility for performance bonuses.
