About the Role
Join KPMG's Leadership Support Team in Newcastle as a full-time Executive Assistant providing dependable and professional support to the Geographic (GEO) Lead Partner. This position plays a vital role in helping the Partner maintain focus on key objectives through meticulous organization and communication within a dynamic professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage the GEO Lead Partner’s calendar, meetings, and daily administrative tasks.
- Arrange meetings including preparing agendas and gathering necessary documentation or briefings.
- Oversee correspondence, timely follow-ups, and track important deadlines professionally.
- Coordinate travel logistics such as bookings for accommodation and itineraries when needed.
- Assist with expense reports, invoice handling, and other administrative duties aligning with company protocols.
- Organize client, internal, and stakeholder meetings, documenting notes and distributing follow-up actions.
- Maintain accurate client and contact records, update CRM databases as required.
- Serve as a polished point of contact for clients, visitors, and internal teams.
- Collaborate with the Newcastle office team and broader support networks nationally to ensure smooth office operations.
- Support office logistics, including room reservations, catering, and visitor arrangements.
- Contribute to team engagement, office communications, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
- Establish strong working relationships with Partners, executive assistants, client teams, and support functions to promote continuous improvement.
- Identify and help implement enhancements to administrative processes and communication flow.
- Embody and promote a culture of inclusivity, teamwork, and excellence.
Required Experience and Skills
- Proven background as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or in senior administrative roles.
- Expertise in managing complex diaries, organizing meetings, arranging travel, and handling emails.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks diligently.
- Professional, clear communication skills with confidence engaging Partners, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- High level of discretion, sound judgment, and professionalism safeguarding confidential information.
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset in managing day-to-day responsibilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 tools including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Familiarity with CRM and business management software is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Positive attitude adaptable to change with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
