About the Role and Organisation
Join a values-driven non-profit, MiCare, which supports diverse communities in Victoria and Queensland through services like aged care, home care, retirement living, and migrant support. You will be a critical support figure for the CEO, Board, and Executive Team, positioned at the core of organisational decision-making. Your contributions will directly enhance the quality of care provided daily to over a thousand individuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced executive and secretarial assistance to the CEO and Executive Team.
- Organise and facilitate Board-related activities, including the preparation of committee documents, agendas, minutes, and ensuring follow-up on action items.
- Compose, revise, and format official correspondence, reports, and presentations on behalf of senior leadership.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the CEO's office, managing inquiries with discretion and professionalism.
- Enhance organisational engagement through supporting executive meetings, forums, celebrations, and events in partnership with the marketing team and broader community.
- Manage confidential records while continuously refining administrative processes.
- Conduct research and develop briefing papers to aid strategic planning efforts.
Candidate Profile
- Proven track record in providing executive or Board-level support within complex and confidential settings; prior experience in aged care, health, or community services is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional organisational and prioritisation capabilities, with sound judgment for identifying critical tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to interact confidently across all organisational tiers.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel, along with a proactive mindset towards adopting varied systems and platforms to streamline operations.
- Self-motivated with foresight to anticipate needs without direction.
