Estimator - Preconstruction Manager

Role Overview

We are urgently seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager specializing in estimation for a General Contracting company based in Columbia, SC. The role offers an excellent career opportunity with a well-established General Contractor licensed in multiple Southeastern states, handling over 3,500 projects including general construction, design-build, and construction management across private and public sectors.

Key Responsibilities and Experience Requirements

• Lead competitive bidding processes on complex construction projects with accuracy and strategic insight.
• Collaborate closely both internally with operations teams and externally with clients such as Owners, Architects, Engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment and project success.
• Apply significant knowledge and proven success in retail, multi-story wood frame, healthcare, and industrial construction domains.

Qualifications

• Preferred bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
• At least eight years of experience in construction estimation and related construction activities.
