We are looking for a detail-focused Estimator to join our Transport & Infrastructure team in New South Wales or Queensland. Key Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare and submit RFT and RFQ tenders within deadlines.
• Develop first-principles cost estimates incorporating inputs from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Interpret technical drawings and conduct precise quantity take-offs to scope project activities.
• Maintain and update estimating databases, quote registers, and all relevant documentation.
• Professionally liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth communications.
• Collaborate closely with Sales and Account teams to prioritize and support bidding efforts.
• Present tender packages both internally and externally to clients.
• Support ongoing improvements in estimating tools and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a relevant discipline is preferred.
• Demonstrated estimating experience in civil projects, especially in asphalt, surfacing, or spray seal sectors.
• Proficient use of Benchmark Estimating software is essential.
• Strong ability to analyze and interpret drawings and generate detailed cost estimations.
• Excellent numerical and analytical aptitude.
• Effective organization and time management skills.
• Strategic mindset combined with strong attention to detail and a personable approach.
• A driven attitude to secure projects and meet targeted business outcomes.
