Opportunity Overview
This Entry-Level IT Support Associate role serves as the frontline contact for internal IT assistance, dedicated to ensuring seamless and effective technical operations. It is tailored for those beginning their careers in IT, offering a chance to build technical expertise while delivering support for the organization's daily IT requirements remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver first-tier technical support through ticketing systems, emails, and chat platforms.
- Quickly diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and upkeep of employee workstations and software applications.
- Handle user account management tasks such as creating accounts, making changes, and resetting passwords.
- Refer complex technical problems to senior personnel with detailed documentation.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and an internal knowledge database.
- Contribute to the rollout of new technologies and IT initiatives as required.
Requirements
- A genuine enthusiasm for technology and solving technical challenges.
- Strong communication abilities to clearly explain technical details to users without IT backgrounds.
- Basic familiarity with computer operating systems including Windows and macOS.
- Good organizational skills for prioritizing and managing multiple tasks.
- A proactive, customer-oriented mindset.
- Previous IT support experience or certifications such as CompTIA A+ are advantageous but not essential.
Compensation
The hourly wage for this position ranges between 20 and 30 US dollars.
