Position Summary

An urgent contract opening is available for an End User Computing Engineer based in Australia, covering Adelaide, Perth, and Brisbane. The engineer will deliver both onsite and remote support to end users, focusing on hardware and software assistance to maintain a seamless user experience under the direction of the EUC Lead.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to end-user issues and offer professional resolutions.
  • Perform troubleshooting, guidance, and IT assistance for users.
  • Provide onsite break/fix hardware and software support.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors for hardware-related escalations.
  • Deliver remote support as needed.
  • Diagnose and fix desktop and laptop issues.
  • Deploy and install software applications on workstations.
  • Offer in-person desk side support to users.
  • Install, configure, and maintain customer-owned devices and software.
  • Document accurately all incidents, requests, and resolutions.
  • Assist with IS project tasks under EUC Lead guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 2 to 4 years in EUC, desktop support, or IT support roles.
  • Proficient in providing on-premises and remote technical support.
  • Experience with Windows 10/11 operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 suites.
  • Competent in hardware troubleshooting including laptops, desktops, and peripherals.
  • Experience in software deployment and endpoint device configuration.
  • Ability to use remote support tools such as TeamViewer and Remote Desktop.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory user and permission management.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management procedures.
  • Comfort working with third-party vendors and service providers.

Technical Proficiencies

  • Desktop and laptop device support.
  • Software installation and system configuration.
  • Basic network troubleshooting skills.
  • Device imaging and deployment techniques (preferred).

Contract Details and Eligibility

The contract duration is 6 months with a possibility for extension. Only Australian or New Zealand citizens or permanent residents are eligible to apply.
