Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design and Manufacturing Engineer to become a key member of our team in Jeddah. This role demands expertise in designing, fabricating, assembling, and testing electrical and control panels along with other related equipment. The role also entails leading teams and ensuring high-quality outcomes throughout the production process.

Main Duties

  • Create designs for electrical power, control, and automation panels tailored to client specifications and in compliance with relevant standards.
  • Develop electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts utilizing software like AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.
  • Choose suitable electrical components such as breakers, contactors, relays, variable frequency drives (VFDs), programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and protective devices.
  • Formulate bills of materials, technical datasheets, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Lead and guide the production team to guarantee precise assembly and wiring of panels.
  • Oversee manufacturing and assembly processes to uphold quality and regulatory standards.
  • Perform inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical panels.
  • Ensure compliance with international electrical codes including IEC, NEC, and UL.
  • Coordinate with procurement, quality assurance, and project departments to fulfill project timelines and specifications.
  • Offer technical assistance during installation, commissioning, and post-installation support.
  • Identify avenues for improvements in design, cost efficiency, and manufacturing workflows.

Qualifications and Experience
